Alanna Gaylord Program Head

This will be Alanna's sixteenth summer at Camp, her eighth on staff, and her first as the Arts Program Head. Alanna is a recent graduate from the University of Vermont where she earned her degree in Art Education. After her graduation in December, she spent the following spring substitute teaching in the Chittenden Central Supervisory Union and working at UVM as the pottery technician. Alanna is beyond excited to begin her role as the Arts Program at Camp this summer. She has had a strong passion for the arts ever since she first grasped a pencil! From getting crafty in the Arts and Crafts cabin, to helping Campers find their inner Andy Goldsworthy in Earth Art, to discovering the next Bill Watterson in Cartooning, Alanna cannot wait to share her enthusiasm and passions for art with the Campers of Camp Downer!
