Max Akey Counselor

Max is still in shock that he is lucky enough to be spending his summer at the best place on earth. He loves taking walks through the magical Downer State forest at camp, as well as shooting some hoops on the courts and slaying dragons at the archery range. Max will be a senior at Champlain Valley Union High School in the fall where he participates in soccer, hockey, and lacrosse. He is an avid fly fisherman and co-founder of the famous VT Fishing. This year Max hopes to learn the ways of the white river and catch the biggest trout in Vermont. He can’t wait for this summers journey as a Camp Downer counselor.
