Nate Ertle Counselor

This will be Nathan's 11th summer in the Downer State Forest and his second on staff. Nathan spends his life outside of his summers at camp in his hometown of Essex Junction, Vermont. He is a senior at Essex High School, and is looking forward to going to college at The University of Maine Orono. At UMO, Nathan plans to continue to play rugby and to study Marine Biology. He is extremely excited for a summer chocked full of disc golfing, fish catching, nature jaunting, arrow launching, rock petting, turtle finding, and that good old Downer cabin living. Nathan cannot wait to see all of your smiling faces this summer, in the place that outshines the sun!
